Solution Architect (VMware, Citrix, Infrastructure) Belfast

Our leading worldwide IT and technology client based in Belfast have a requirement for a Solution Architect to deliver infrastructure design across their client base.

The Solution Architect will deliver a range of technical leadership services including customer interface, infrastructure design (high/low level), and technical specification and pricing services through to the implementation of complex infrastructure solutions within the Virtualisation / Storage area.

Skills:

We are interested in speaking to candidates who have an in depth knowledge in at least one of the following:

• VMware 3.5 and/or vSphere
  
• Microsoft - Hyper-V and Virtual Server
  
• Citrix - XenServer / XenDesktop / Xenapp
  
• Microsoft - Terminal Services 2003 and/or 2008

Desirable Skills:

• Storage & Backup Technologies (EMC, Netapps, Symantec)
• Oracle / SQL, Design or Support
• DR/contingency planning expertise
• Incident / Problem / Change Management
• Service Delivery within ITIL Framework
