The main responsibility of the Engineer is testing products to verify conformance with technical specifications in accordance with direction from the team leader. This includes responsibilities related to test planning, test execution, logging defects and verifying fixes. Additionally, you may be required to assist with implementation of test systems and team administration.
Candidates must have experience in Software Quality Assurance/functional software testing using standard testing techniques and methodologies. This experience should be demonstrable on a variety of projects involving both individual and team based projects, ideally including working on a globally dispersed team.
Additionally, evidence of ability to manage conflicting and/or changing priorities is desired as well as experience of time management and working to deadlines.
Experience of working in a Unix/Linux environment including basic system administration activities.

Additional information: Proficiency in some of the following technologies: - Test Automation technologies: Rational Test automation products (particularly: RFT), STAF/STAX
- Scripting/Programming languages: Java, Perl, Bash, Python/Jython, etc.
- Linux : RedHat Enterprise Linux v4+ and/or SUSE Enterprise Linux v9+
- Unix: Solaris 9 and later, AIX 5.3 and later, HP-UX 11 and later
- Windows: 2003 and later
