Our client, a progressive software development House, has been steadily growing throughout the last year. With a number of secure contracts, things have never looked better. 2010 looks to be even better and as a result they are keen to add to their software development team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coding complex specifications using the project standards. 
• Develop complex templates for development team.
• Completing walkthrough of designs and code.
• Promote the use of design patterns and re-usable software components.
• Act as an expert on particular elements for project team.
• Support less experienced team members and share knowledge appropriately.
• Write physical design specification for junior staff.
• Contribute to technical solutions for Bid / Pre-sales work.
• Assist the project manager in the delivery of solutions.
• Manage time to ensure milestones are met.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Experienced with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007).
• Experienced with Application Development Tools e.g. Visual Studio .NET 2005/2008.
• Experienced with C# and ASP.NET (in addition Visual Basic.NET an advantage).
• Experienced with SQL server.
• Commercial experience in delivering web based application architectures (including web services).
• Competent in methods and techniques for structured reviews, including reviews of technical diagrams, test plans, business cases and any other key deliverables.
• Familiar with development methodologies such as Agile, UML and user centered development.
